During the month of April 2021, more than 150 secondary school students from Catalonia and Italy have collaborated with the project in testing the app and in proposals for the game’s communication campaign addressed to young people.

Based on a joint meeting between teachers, the ANT Foundation team and our expert in Citizen Science, an action plan has been drawn up to test the game in secondary schools and to work on different topics in a transversal way, such as mathematical and genetic aspects related to ongoing research, communication in science (language, images, dissemination tools), the right of citizens to access science, the role of women in science, and the value of citizen participation, especially of young people, in scientific research.

The students participated enthusiastically in all the activities, suggesting improvements for the game and elaborating a series of reflections, contents and materials, which will be analysed by the Genigma team for their implementation. On April 27th, a session took place in Zoom with the researchers of the project, to show the results obtained in the tests and to solve doubts of the students.
